Nice to Meet You!
I’m Krylyn. That’s “cre” like “creative” and “Lin” like “Linda.” And yes, I actually am creative, in both my work and my life.
I keep things real and bring to light what you have been taught to keep brushed under the rug. You know what I’m talking about – the thoughts you’re afraid to speak out loud, the feelings that make you wonder if you’re normal, and the situations you may have never talked to anyone about.
Do I speak your language?
I speak the language of “not-good-enough” which can sound, feel, and look like:
-
Spinning thoughts that play the “life sucks and so do I” highlight reel over and over again
- Feeling lost and confused about life
- Comparing yourself to others
- Trying to please everyone
- Worrying about things you have no control over
- Procrastinating so much that opportunities whoosh on by
- Taking care of others at the expense of taking care of yourself
If you’re ready to learn a new language, the one of “better-than-good-enough” – where negative thoughts get turned on their head, the inner critical voices get hushed, and you feel calmer, more centered, and better able to make positive decisions and changes in your life – then I may be just the therapist to help you.
How I Roll...
My style is professional with a casual flair and a pinch of humor. I may quote a song lyric or a movie line or throw in a swear word now and again. I may say something like “I’m not the kind of therapist to blow positive smoke up your butt” (yes, I really said that to a client) to put your mind at ease that healing is not about rainbows and unicorns. It’s often necessary to look at the “ouch” moments so we can heal and move past them.
If you’d like to see if I’m the right therapist for you, book a free phone consult and let’s chat.
I'm not the kind of therapist who will blow positive smoke up your butt.

When I'm Not Working
You may find me writing a song, dancing to some fly 80’s tunes, binge-watching crime thriller shows (a la Criminal Minds or Law & Order SVU), striking a yoga pose, or spending time with my adult son who loves talking politics.
