Finding Your Voice

Adult Children of Narcissistic Parents Recovery Group

Are you a mental health or medical provider making a referral? Download and distribute the flyer, or send your clients/patients to this web page to fill out the form below.

If you’ve grown up with a parent with narcissistic traits, you may find yourself:

  • Sabotaging your success and settling for less than you know you deserve
  • Trying to please everyone and not rock the boat
  • Bending over backwards to meet everyone’s needs but your own
  • Struggling with feelings of unworthiness

One of the most repeated sentiments my individual clients say is that they feel alone in their recovery because people don’t understand what it’s like to have a parent who isn’t capable of love.

Finding Your Voice is an 8-week online therapy group where you’ll not only get the support of a licensed therapist but you’ll also get a combination of best practice healing that includes:

  • Education about the effects of parental emotional abuse
  • Therapist facilitated discussions about how your past is impacting you today
  • Strategies and tools that can help you identify and move through your conflicting emotions
  • Connection with others who GET IT

While the topics covered in each round of this group can vary based on the group’s needs, here are some topics that often come up and have been covered in previous rounds of this group:

  • The Effects of Being Raised by a Narcissistic Parent
  • Managing Triggers
  • Accepting My Parent
  • Grieving My Parent
  • Separating from My Parent
  • Re-parenting Myself
  • Becoming the Person I Truly Am
  • Setting Boundaries
  • Self-Care
  • Planning for the Future

*New Clients must also complete a one-time intake assessment at an additional cost.

GROUP REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:  Due to the extensive nature of planning involved in this group therapy program, refunds cannot be provided. Payment for all sessions is required and will be charged weekly at the full session cost. Please only sign up if you are able to attend all sessions. If you are unable to make a group session due to illness or other unforeseeable circumstances, please let Krylyn know ASAP. You can schedule a 15-minute call with Krylyn after the group to discuss what you missed.

NEW CLASS: Recovering from Parental Narcissistic Abuse

It is recommended that all clients attend a LIVE or ON-DEMAND “Recovering from Parental Narcissistic Abuse” class prior to the start date to gain valuable education about the recovery process.

FORMER GROUP CLIENTS: There is no additional fee for this class. Contact Krylyn directly to register.

NEW CLIENTS: If you register for the class and sign up for the group, your first group session is free, basically making this a free class.
